Abstract

Code complex for numerical analysis of demonstration gas cooled fast reactor ALLEGRO is
under preparation. Possible utilization of spectral code HELIOS 2.1 with broadened library is
analysed. Its verification starts by comparison with MCNPX 2.6.0. Calculations of
ALLEGRO subassemblies by both codes are presented in this paper. All of analyses in the
paper were inspired by an active participation at GoFastR project – component of FP7 EU.
