ABSTRACT
The problem of multiple control rods failures at scram working during the accident with a break of the main steam line was considered. Characteristic features of this accident are significant coolant temperature asymmetry in the core and danger of recriticality. Probability of scram functions non-fulfilment with a view to safety criterions was assessed.
Cases with different number of control rods failures were observed. Input data for multiple calculations was formed. Control rods failures were chosen at random.
Different statistical methods for post-processing were tested (by samples frequency, multidimentional linear regression, discriminant functional analysis). These methods can find out some laws.
The presented methodology allows to assess probability of failure in safety criterions for different number of control rods failures. It is a part of complete scram reliability analyses.
