Abstract
New code designed to simplify the reference core calculations using the SERPENT
Monte-Carlo code named SFullcore (Serpent fullcore automated processing) is being developed in NRI.
The code is designed for automated management of SERPENT fullcore calculations for VVER 440 and VVER 1000 reactors for one single state of the reactor. It is possible to evaluate states corresponding both to zero power and to on-power operation. The isotopic composition of the fuel with non-zero burnup is provided by pre-calculated libraries.
Good agreement is achieved between the SFullcore predictions and the experimental data.
